Here at Carlton, we specialise in providing care and support for individuals with Autism, Asperger syndrome, learning disabilities and those experiencing mental health problems.

We do this by providing each service user with a living area of their own, coupled with a tailor-made support package, allowing each resident to gain and develop skills to live more independently and improve the quality of their life.

We aim to support each resident by guiding them through all aspects of day to day living, tailored specifically to their current and future needs. Examples of support we offer includes:

  • How to pay bills and manage finance, including budgeting
  • Seeking potential employment opportunities
  • Developing academic knowledge
  • Understanding the day to day running a home requires
  • Personal care
  • Implementing a weekly planner / schedule – including participating within the community, household chores, daily errands and seeing family and friends.

Our specialist supported living team are constantly on hand to ensure that our residents grow, develop, and achieve their personal goals. Having a support plan that is person centred and bespoke helps to ensure that we provide each resident with the facilities, environment, and time they need to develop new skills and knowledge.

Our aim is to actively participate, encourage and support our service users through a journey towards greater independence.
